Production, inventory and finance on one system at Johor Bahru Flour Mill

The challenge

Milling runs, stock movements and financial records were maintained separately, so the numbers only reconciled after the fact — usually at month end, usually by hand.

That made it hard to answer basic operational questions in the moment: what has actually been produced, what is genuinely available, and what a batch really cost.

What we implemented

We implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV across the mill, bringing production, inventory and finance onto one system so a movement recorded on the floor is the same movement finance sees.

The rollout was paired with hands-on user training and steady post go-live support from the same Awansoft consultants who built the configuration.

The result

• Production, inventory and finance recorded once, in one system, rather than reconciled between three.
• Stock positions visible to the people who need them without waiting for a month-end close.
• Users trained on their own configured screens, with the implementing team available after go-live.
